Following an intensive training programme, the successful candidates will be given direct sales responsibility for the promotion of the Olympus Microscopy product range.
Duties include all aspects of managing a sales territory as well as attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings. Applicants will be required to work across a wide variety of environments including high end research in the life & material science sectors and the UK healthcare market, both private and NHS.
Candidates must have relevant experience in a scientific and/or engineering environment and possess a strong commercial acumen & high level of technical aptitude. A higher-level education would be an advantage, as individuals must meet the standard graduate training requirements. The desire to work hard and succeed in a competitive market is an important prerequisite and as a company vehicle is provided, a full clean UK driving licence is essential. Applicants should ideally be located in either Scotland or the South East of England.
Hours of work: 8.00am to 6.00pm - Monday to Friday (Although there may be the necessity to operate outside these hours, due to travel and customer commitments)
