The company provides generous cover for private medical care, in a wide variety of circumstances.  Cover is available, after one year’s service with the company, to all employees between the ages of 16 and 64, with the exception of those receiving income protection plan payments.

If you elect to take single membership, the scheme is provided free of charge, although there is a modest tax deduction applicable to this benefit in kind.  Your spouse/civil partner and children may, subject to other qualifying conditions, also be covered at a reduced cost.

Cover is effective from the first day of the month following receipt of your application to join.  All new members are required to provide information relating to medical history for themselves and any others to be included.  It is important to note that treatment for pre-existing conditions will not be covered.
