Olympus KeyMed is pleased to introduce its new single use guidewire developed with advanced technology from Terumo Corporation. The new 0.025 inch VisiGlide provides the same level of support and stiffness as a traditional 0.035 inch guidewire due to its enhanced design, including a superelastic alloy and hydrophilic coatings to facilitate passage through strictures and make selective insertion into the bile and pancreatic ducts easier. |
| By integrating Terumo’s advanced materials processing technology with Olympus’ endoscope and device combination technology, the VisiGlide improves guidewire insertability and maneuverability in the bile and pancreatic ducts. The core wire of VisiGlide is made of a superelastic alloy with a thin fluorine coating on its shaft and the kink-resistant design combined with its coatings enable the guidewire to pass smoothly through strictures while facilitating the exchange of ERCP devices, helping to make procedures faster and easier. |
| VisiGlide has unique markings to indicate various distances from the distal end in order to facilitate placement and confirmation of the position of the guidewire in the endoscopic field of view during endoscopic treatment and when exchanging devices. In addition, two radiopaque markers are incorporated to improve the visibility of the guidewire under fluoroscopy. |
VisiGlide is available in long (4500mm) and short (2700mm) lengths with angulated and straight tips to meet all ERCP requirements. |
FG-401Q, FG-402Q & FG-403Q Single–use Retrieval Baskets - Reliable Retrieval with Single-use Convenience. |
The Olympus single-use retrieval basket line-up includes the new FlowerBasket design, with all models offering smooth insertion and efficient removal of small bile duct stones. |
FG-401Q FlowerBasket The Olympus FlowerBasket, with its unique multi-faceted basket, is designed especially for the capture and removal of small stones in the bile duct. The bullet-shaped tip allows for smooth insertion and the integrated handle allows more precise control and manipulation of the basket. A contrast media injection port facilitates fluoroscopic visualisation. Compatible with channel sizes of 2.8mm and above. |

FG-402Q/403Q Retrieval Baskets The FG-402Q basket has stiffer wires than the FG-403Q, allowing them to be opened in the bile duct while maintaining the basket’s original shape. The FG-403Q basket has more pliable wires that make it easier to release a stone from the basket.
In common with the FlowerBasket, each has a bullet-shaped tip for smooth insertion, an integrated handle for precise control and manipulation, and a contrast media injection port to facilitate fluoroscopic visualisation. Compatible with channel sizes of 2.8mm and above. |

FG-44NR Rotatable Rat Tooth Grasping Forceps The alligator jaws with interlocking rat teeth at their distal ends make these reusable grasping forceps ideal for the removal of plastic biliary stents. The rotatable jaw design allows for easier positioning when approaching the target object.
Constructed of easy-to-clean materials, the FG-44NR can be reprocessed by ultrasonic cleaning and autoclave sterilization. |
