To make endosonography of the rectum and anus easier and less invasive, while maintaining the high-resolution imaging capability needed for optimum observation, Olympus has developed two rigid ultrasonic probes designed to function without the assistance of an endoscope.
Two types are available - one with 7.5MHz output for visualisation of deep areas, and one with 12 MHz output for the best possible high-resolution ultrasound images. These probes are fully compatible with conventional endoscopic ultrasound systems, assuring maximum system flexibility.
The Olympus rectal probes may be used with either the EU-ME1, EU-M2000 or EU-M30S processors in conjunction with a Probe Driving Unit.

MAJ-935 Probe Driving Unit The MAJ-935 is compatible with both EU-ME1 and EU-M2000 EUS processors, and is necessary to drive any Olympus Miniprobe or rectal probe.
