The IBV Valve System is designed to limit airflow to the portions of the lungs distal to the valve, while still allowing mucous and air movement in the proximal direction for the treatment of:

Diseased lung (for example, emphysema) - the valve is designed to redirect airflow from diseased portions of the lung to healthier areas
Damaged lung (for example, air leaks)
- the valve limits airflow to damaged tissue |
